MADE OF HONOUR
For Tom (Patrick Dempsey), life is good: he’s sexy, successful, has great luck with the ladies, and knows he can always rely on Hannah (Michelle Monaghan), his delightful best friend and the one constant in his life.
It’s the perfect setup until Hannah goes overseas to Scotland on a six-week business trip, and Tom is stunned to realize how empty his life is without her. He resolves that when she gets back, he’ll ask Hannah to marry him -but is floored when he learns that she has become engaged to a handsome and wealthy Scotsman and plans to move overseas. When Hannah asks Tom to be her
“maid” of honour, he reluctantly agrees to fill the role… but only so he can attempt
to woo Hannah and stop the wedding before it’s too late.
USER REVIEW
Hiya I’m Lisa and I went to see “Made of Honour”.
The film was absolutely brilliant. It was romantic, funny, amusing and Patrick Dempsey played a marvellous part and so did Michelle Monaghan.
My favourite bit of the film was how the main characters, Tom and Hannah become friends at the beginning. I won’t give too much away but it involves a misunderstanding between the two while Patrick is dressed as Bill Clinton!
The main story is about Tom who is a very rich man because he invented the coffee cup holder. He’s a playboy with a different girl every night but when Hannah goes to Scotland for 6 weeks and he realises he can’t live without her. But when she comes back, she’s engaged!
Hannah then asks Tom to be her Maid of Honour which he accepts but only to win back Hannah.
My favourite character would have to be Tom but also, Hannah’s niece who tries to humiliate him at every turn.
I’d recommend the film to all my friends but I’d probably take my husband again.
I’d give it 10 out of 10. It was amusing all the way through and there wasn’t a dull moment.
It was an absolutely brilliant film, I’m thrilled to bits and I would watch it again.
