Baltic Campus
Our brand new Baltic Campus is located at the heart of all the action on the NewcastleGateshead Quayside. The building is bursting at the seams with state of the art learning resources, a spa and gym, plenty of places to eat and drink, a 200 seat performance theatre and much more.

Just a few minutes walk away you have The Sage Gateshead, BALTIC and all of the best cafés, restaurants and places to be seen in the city centre.

Skills Academy for Construction
Our Skills Academy for Construction is perfect for anyone interested in painting and decorating, plastering, plumbing, joinery, electrical, brickwork and gas installations. With 3000sq m of workshop space, classrooms and a café we are able to offer dedicated areas for each trade so that you can learn in a real life working environment. We also have specialist vocational workshops for 14-16 year olds – perfect for those at school wanting to take a practical vocational route.

Skills Academy for Automotive, Engineering, Manufacturing and Logistics
We’ve got great relationships with employers across the region – so we can really get you ready for work. Plus, we’re Nissan’s preferred training provider and we deliver the Ford Masters Programme.

Our state of the art facilities include:

• Spray booths
• Rolling road
• Specialist diagnostic equipment
• Welding workshop
• Driving simulators for cars, LGV and fork lift trucks
• Nissan Training Centre.

Academy for Sport
Located right beside Gateshead International Stadium, our Academy for Sport is a world-class training, scientific, medical, coaching and educational facility, comparable to the best in the country. Sharing the centre with the English Institute of Sport (EIS) brings it into a network of nine national, elite, multi-sport facilities.

You will study in state of the art classrooms complete with lots of the latest equipment, sports science and medicine facilities, a performance lab, aerobics studio and a learning resource centre. You will also use an outstanding 83m indoor athletics hall, the latest 3G artificial and grass pitches and a floodlit throwing area.

Love sport but want to study something else?
If you’re studying full time with us on any programme (not just sport), you can join one of our sports academies and use these fantastic facilities and get access to great coaching.
